You’ll definitely love this stir fry, which can be prepared in under 30 minutes. Not only is it quick, but it’s also a healthy choice—this recipe uses only a minimal amount of oil and requires just one pan.

In this simple dish, chicken sausages are sliced and stir fried along with vegetables. You can customize it by adding your favorite veggies—mushrooms, broccoli, and cauliflower are all great additions. I didn’t have mushrooms on hand, so I used other favorite vegetables from my kitchen to pair with the sausage slices.

This stir fry works perfectly as an appetizer or a side dish for lunch or dinner. With the variety of sausages available in the market, preparation might differ: some sausages can be stir fried directly, others need to be boiled or microwaved first. Always check the instructions on the sausage packaging before you begin.

We’re keeping things light on herbs and sauces here. The only seasoning used is pepper powder and a touch of tomato sauce. You can also wrap this sausage stir fry in chapatis or tortillas and pack it as a kid-friendly school lunch. It’s a versatile dish that can be tailored to your family’s tastes.

Garlic brings a wonderful flavor to the mix—feel free to add more if you love it. While olive oil is recommended for this recipe, sunflower oil or any other neutral oil can be used too. Just avoid using coconut oil, as it may overpower the flavors. Also, remember to finely slice your vegetables for quicker cooking.

Serve this easy and flavorful sausage stir fry over hot fried rice or with rotis—either way, it’s sure to be a hit.
