Ingredients
- Ripe tomatoes – 3 nos
- Maida (all-purpose flour) – 15 grams
- Ghee – 15 grams
- Salt – 1/2 tablespoon
- White pepper powder – 1/2 tablespoon
- Sugar – 1/4 tablespoon
- Fresh milk cream – 1/2 cup
- Dry ginger powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Water – 300 ml
Method of Preparation
- Prepare the tomatoes
Cut the ripe tomatoes into large pieces and cook them in a pressure cooker until tender. - Make a paste
Once cooled, transfer the cooked tomatoes to a mixer grinder and blend into a smooth paste. - Cook the base
In a pan, heat the ghee and add maida. Fry until it turns golden brown. - Add the tomato paste
Pour the tomato paste into the pan and stir well to combine. - Season the soup
Add salt, white pepper powder, sugar, and dry ginger powder. Mix thoroughly. - Simmer
Keep the flame on low and simmer for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. - Finish with cream
Add fresh milk cream just before serving to enrich the soup and enhance its texture.
Serving Suggestion
