3. Garlic Butter Filling:

  • Melted butter – 1/4 cup
  • Chopped garlic – 3 cloves
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
  • Grated mozzarella cheese – 3 tablespoons
  • Oregano – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chilli flakes – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Mixed herbs – 1/4 teaspoon

4. Garnishing:

  • Oregano – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chilli flakes – 1/4 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

1. Preparing the Dough

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add yeast, warm water, and sugar.
  2. Let it rest for 5 minutes until the yeast activates.
  3. Add all-purpose flour, milk powder, and salt.
  4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes soft.
  5. Coat the dough with oil and cover the bowl with a lid.
  6. Leave it in a warm place for 2-3 hours until the dough doubles in size.

2. Preparing the Garlic Bread

  1. After 2 hours, the dough should have risen.
  2. Punch the dough to remove excess air.
  3. Dust with all-purpose flour and knead again.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball and roll it into an oval shape using a rolling pin.

3. Preparing Garlic Butter Filling:

  1. In a bowl, mix chopped garlic, melted butter, and coriander leaves.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the oval dough.
  3. Add mozzarella cheese on one half of the oval dough.
  4. Sprinkle oregano, chili flakes, and mixed herbs over the cheese.
  5. Fold the oval dough and seal the edges tightly with water.
  6. Transfer to a baking tray lined with butter paper.
  7. Spread garlic butter mix on top and garnish with mixed herbs and chili flakes.
  8. Make cut marks on the bread using a knife to divide it evenly.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
